Simone Sechi of Ronco delle Betulle.

The Ronco delle Betulle winemaking tradition dates to 1967, owing to Giovanbattista Adami’s passion and genuine sentiment for his land. A leading wine producer from the eastern hills of Friuli, Betulle currently produces 70,000 bottles a year.

“A wine’s personality always derives from the soil, the sun and the air; it is not something you can build.” according to Simone Sechi, who has made wine-making his vocation since 2000.

Simone’s exceptional local wines are:
Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Pignolo, Refosco, Franconia.

and his international wines are:
Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Bianco, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
